Jack Sawyer is an Attackman and a recent graduate from High Point University where he spent 3 years after transferring from the University of Maryland.  Jack is from Ellicott City Maryland and played his High School lacrosse at Calvert Hall. 

 

High School Accolades:

  • Tallied 82 goals and 53 assists

  • Under Armour Senior All-American

  • First Team All-Metro

  • First Team All-MIAA

  • Helped Calvert Hall to three MIAA championships

  • 2018 MVP in MIAA championship

Senior Year Stats at High Point:

·         Appeared in 14 games with 11 starts.

·         Finished third on the team in scoring with 19 goals.

·         Added 11 assists to total 30 points.

·         Took 68 shots and 38 shots on goal for a .559 shot on goal percentage.

·         Made SportsCenter Top 10 with his game winning goal over North Carolina (Mar. 23) in the final seconds of the game to earn the program's first ever victory over the Tar Heels, 12-11.

·         Registered hat tricks in two games this season.

·         Had his best game of the season versus St. Bonaventure (Apr. 5) scoring three goals and dishing out three assists for six points, posting a .750 shot on goal percentage.

·         Picked up 18 ground balls and five caused turnovers.
