John Hanna

John Hanna grew up in Anne Arundel County playing lacrosse and soccer.  He is a 1992 graduate of Broadneck High School, where he was a varsity lacrosse and soccer player.  He was All-County in both sports, winning the 4A state Lacrosse Championship in 1992.  Coach Hanna went on to play one year at the Naval Academy Prep School, under current Loyola University Coach Charlie Toomey, before receiving his appointment to the Naval Academy.  He played for two years at the Naval Academy before transferring to the University of Maryland, to finish his collegiate career under Coach Dick Edell.  He has been coaching youth soccer, baseball, basketball and lacrosse for the past 7 years.  John resides in Woodbine with his wife, Amy, and their two children, Jack and Drew.  When he's not at their lacrosse games, you will find him working on his golf game at Turf Valley.
